About Me

I grew up a shopper and from that evolved into someone who loves interior design, merchandising and all things vintage. European Frump was born from these passions coming together. What does European Frump mean? Well for me European is classic, refined and beautiful while Frump is kind of the same but opposite, worn or tattered stuff that might have been classic or refined at one time. I like to blend that rustic with a refined designer approach and I call that “European Frump”. I get great joy from finding old vintage wares and bringing them back to life and sometimes to the centerpiece of some amazing interiors. You might have seen my stuff in Santa Barbara at The Blue Door in the Funk Zone or maybe in Coastal Living Magazine. I make custom industrial lights new again, I refinish old furniture and I have a love affair with rusty iron. I love giving old stuff new life and hope you follow along.
