Apparently you’re not supposed to do laundry,
clean your house, wash dishes, or drink on New Year’s Day…

And yet here I am… folding clothes, washing the dishes, and making my famous margarita!
No Regrets. 👏🏼💃🏻🍹

Because let’s be honest…
none of these superstitions have ever paid my families mortgage, raised a kid, or even moved the needle in real life!

Success doesn’t come from what you avoid on January 1… It comes from a full year of showing up, doing the work, and handling the things you don’t feel like doing… over and over again, because friends - THAT IS REAL LIFE!

I promise you that your accomplishments this year are not going to care if you washed dishes today, and neither does the Lord!

The only thing I added to my New Year’s Day traditions, was starting a journey through the Bible guide that I have been wanting to do. If anything this year, I’m just gonna be praying a little bit more and that’s the only thing I need on my side! 🤍

The best thing about all things New Year’s is we all get to do whatever it is that makes us feel like we are starting off on the right foot.

I’ll be over here starting the year with less laundry, hydrated, and a clean kitchen!

And that’s a wrap on 2025 for the my sweet family & Small Business! 🤍

I absolutely have goals and dreams set for the year ahead, but for once, I can truly say I’ve loved and appreciated the blessings our family experienced this year.

As a mom, that feels bigger than any milestone that I could ever set!

This year came with long hours, hard work, and plenty of obstacles… the kind that test you as a woman, a business owner, and a parent. But we didn’t let them defeat us. We kept showing up, kept pushing forward, and kept choosing our family along the way.

I’m incredibly proud of us & I know the opportunities we were given in 2025 didn’t happen by accident… they came from faith, perseverance, and not backing down when things felt a little too chaotic.

This year has truly made stepping into 2026 feel brighter, because I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for so many MAJOR projects happening in our lives!!

🩷 Here’s to the moms who are simply thankful their families made it through the year they had!

🩷Here’s to the women in their 30s and 40s building businesses, raising kids, and holding it all together, even when no one sees the work behind the scenes!

Tonight as I hung out with Dawson, while Deric was at the station… I couldn’t help but be thankful and ready for the adventures 2026 delivers!

Cheers 2025, we will see you later! 🥂

I’ll be honest…this affects me more than I probably like to admit.

I cannot stand being uncomfortable in my clothes… armpits tight, bust pulling, shoulders restricted… you name it, I despise it!

It’s actually one of the first ways I know I’ve stepped away from my usual routine and stopped paying attention to things like macros and gotten relaxed on my consistency.

With my stature, even five pounds can change how certain pieces fit me… jeans, dresses, tops, all of it. I know it sounds extreme but I am on the more petite side for height! When my clothes don’t fit right, it messes with my confidence way faster than I’d like. It even messes with my excitement for our plans. 🙈

That’s also one of the reasons I chose to have my breast implants removed.
I got tired of feeling like my clothes never fit me the way I wanted them to, because again, I am petite in stature and they were too much for me!

I wanted to feel comfortable again, not squeezed, restricted, or constantly adjusting.

This isn’t about perfection or being hard on yourself. It’s just the reality that feeling good often starts with feeling comfortable… and when that’s off, everything feels off.

If you’ve ever stood in your closet feeling this way, just know you’re not alone.
This happens to all women, All of the time!

A little solidarity for you on this frigid night! 🤍

Is anyone else low key looking forward to getting back to their regularly scheduled program tomorrow? 😅

The late nights, the off routines, the crazy food and treats, the hugging necks, the visiting long time friends, the chaos…it’s so fun… but I love consistency with a solid plan!

And on that note… I have no reason to be awake this late so let’s go to bed friend! 💤
