Somebody just paid $70,000… for what’s left of a dream on Bring A Trailer.

This 1963 split-window Corvette cab proves once again that rarity + history = serious value. No engine. No chassis. Just pure icon status.

Let that sink in.

This is the 1963 Oldsmobile Jetfire America’s first factory turbocharged production car. A bold experiment that pushed technology far ahead of its time and nearly vanished from history.

With only a small number known to still run today, this episode dives into why the Jetfire mattered, what made it so unique, and how one survived against the odds.

Some people collect things.
Others preserve history.

For over 50 years, he never sold a thing: cars, signs, parts, memories.
Until today.

We were invited behind the gates of one of Oklahoma’s largest private salvage yards to hear his story and see what he’s finally willing to let go.
