Stacy is running for Parkland City Commissioner in a non-partisan Special Election being held on January 31st, 2012. Stacy plans to carry out the remainder of the four-year term formerly held by our esteemed Jay Smith. Though Jay’s presence will be sorely missed, Stacy will honor his memory by holding her seat on the Parkland City Commission with as much honor, pride and integrity as Mr. Smith did
while he served our city. Stacy simply wants to maintain the strength and excellence of our schools, preserve the beauty and the hometown feel of our city and ensure Parkland continues to be the progressive, innovative and wonderful place we are proud to live, work, and raise our families. Stacy and her family moved to Parkland in 2004 for our fantastic schools and everything this town has to offer. She works alongside her husband Richard, a CPA and Financial Representative for Allstate. She and Richard have a beautiful daughter named Brittani and they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this year. Brittani graduated in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Class of ’07 and then continued on to University of Michigan where she graduated with honors in only 3 ½ years. Brittani is currently enjoying her job in the entertainment industry and living in Los Angeles. Stacy owns the Allstate Insurance Agency located in The Shoppes at Heron Lakes on Coral Ridge Drive. Stacy and her hard working, staff of 7 talented professionals are known throughout our area for outstanding customer service and consistently exceeding client expectations.
