Doordash Customer Service Doesn’t GAF.

I have turned down a few very poor paying Dash offers and was contacted by a Doordash Rep directly to see why I haven’t been Dashing. I told them that the offers are always so low in my area that it’s impossible to make a decent wage; much less a livable wage. I would be actually paying and losing money for the privilege of delivering for Doordash, which is simply ludicrous.

The Rep literally contacted me to help answer questions about why I am not Dashing much lately, and then says they’re “unable to assist on this issue.”

I asked what the point of them even texting my personal cell was in the first place if they can’t answer any questions, and unsurprisingly they just didn’t respond ever again.

Pathetic excuse for a company if we are all being honest here. I give them two more years and the stock price will be at $0.00.

doordashing and earned no money

my bf and i rented a car strictly to doordash for some money bc we are desperate for extra money to eat and get around since both of our cars broke this year. we doordashed the whole time we rented the car which was 24 hrs.

we went to get gas and the payment wouldn’t go through. it says we made money but none of it is on the crimpson card… it’s insane bc we needed some of the money for gas to get around. i called support and was on hold for an hour until any kind of help and was transferred to 3 different people on the phone.

they said it may take up to 24hrs -48hrs.. we have been doordashing on this same account for a year with no issues. has this happened to anyone else???

So doordash does a good job of giving you multiple deliveries at one time if a customer has not to tipped. This order came through with another order to a different drop off. After I accept tye dash I usually check to see where I'm going to be going and when I did I seen this message lmao. Now I was about 99% sure this message meant that I was not going to get a tip so after my first pick up I messaged this customer to let them know I was now on my way to pick up their order no response not an ok or an ok thank you nothing So I pick up second order and head to make my first drop off I'm early I'm ahead of expected delivery time now I head to drop the second order off I get there 7 mins before expected delivery time. So I I do say so I believe my service was quite good lol so like I said 99% sure I was never going to get a tip so I go onto to my next dash about the 30 mins go by and still nothing. It took everything I had not to message this guy and ask him if my service was not up to his standards or what the issue was and what I could do better next time lmao. If your not going to tip that's fine I just whish doordash didn't penalize us if we don't accept an order that we have a pretty good idea we are not getting tipped. We are providing a service to the customer and should be compensated a dollar 2 dollars something if you can't do that go pick your food up yourself gas is not cheap we are working a job just like everyone else.

My guy got a 30% tip and has the audacity to tell me the money isn’t worth it. I drive a very long way home from a major city I work in to the suburbs in rush hour traffic. Sometimes I don’t make it home for dinner. Today I was able to leave work a little early and order from my wife’s favorite restaurant because she was offered her dream job this afternoon, figured we’d celebrate. My friend told me I didn't tip enough and forced me to add on another $10 tip in cash.

I ordered Aldi's and about 26 items. Aside from the four 12 packs of Arizona green tea. Everything else was light.

The Aldi's was about 5 miles.

I let my friend know I was ordering groceries and he said $25 is not enough. And basically forced me to tip another $10 in cash.

I just want to know, is my $25 tip unreasonable for grocery order like this?

I ordered some food and tipped 8:50$ for a 2 mile order, what a wonderful surprise to see Mr.Topdasher walk off with my order from the window, wanna know what’s absolutely insane steal food from someone who payed much more than the recommended 2$ per mile, so Herman of Rochester NY, I hope your pillow is warm on both sides forever.
