KIDZ GYM offers gymnastics and ninja classes for children under 11, with programs starting as young as 18 months in their parent-and-me gymnastics classes. Their engaging, curriculum-based classes help kids build confidence, coordination, strength, and agility while having a blast.

The owner, Brooke creates such a welcoming environment and goes out of her way to encourage every child. They also offer Open Gym on select Saturdays for even more fun!

Parrish Community Park is truly the park of all parks in Manatee County!

This fully fenced playground has 3 large climbing structures for different ages, spinning + swinging activities, a wheelchair accessible swing, an incredible splash pad, covered picnic tables, and a huge covered turf area with fans to help beat the heat.

They also host events and music nights under the large pavilion, and there are often food + coffee trucks on-site too! Plus, there’s overflow parking conveniently located on the playground side of the park.

One of the BEST parks for families in the area!

One of the best FREE resources for preschool families in Manatee County 🤍📚 The Little Discovery Center at the Central Library is an interactive learning space designed for children ages 2–5 and their caregivers.

From STEM stations and educational toys to books, learning kits, and hands-on activities, every area encourages learning through play while helping build literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills.

Morning sessions (9AM–12PM) are by appointment only and can be booked online, while afternoon sessions (12PM–4PM) are open to walk ins. They also offer FREE storytimes and classes, so make sure to call ahead to reserve your spot!✨

Designed for little learners, this interactive space encourages creativity, exploration, and hands-on learning through art, engineering, tinkering, and play.

Admission is always FREE for children under 4 and qualifying families in the Manatee County School District through 3rd grade, including families receiving WIC, SNAP, or Medicaid. For all other visitors, admission is donation-based at $10 for the first child and $5 each additional.

Truly one of the most impressive educational play spaces I’ve seen for young kids!
