While I work on a "behind the scenes" documentary about Wine Country Theatre and Little Shop of Horrors, I'm also back working on my Hitchhiker for the Cambria Scarecrows Festival. I just finished the left hand and the right hand is not far behind. Next it's the frame and starting the head!

I've had a blast working on this production. The cast and creative team are fantastic! Every seat is great at the Templeton Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available for tonight at 7:30pm and tomorrow's matinee at 2pm.

I really appreciate all the votes! "The Monday Club and the Women Who Built It" wins the audience award for Best Central Coast Documentary Short! It screens again on Sunday, May 4, 1:30pm, at the Palm during Encore Week for the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival 2025! Thanks again to The Monday Club SLO for being so fun to work with as we stepped back in time to tell the story of the women's movement, Julia Morgan, and the founding of The Monday Club.

It was a packed house! Thanks to everyone who supported the film and came out to see it!

It was a packed house! Thanks to everyone who supported the film and came out to see it!

Tonight, Monday Club and community members viewed a screening of “The Monday Club and the Women who Built It” at the SLO Film Fest. Producer and Director Robin Smith of Health and Harmony Media produced and Directed the film. Seeing the history of the club and leaders past and present on the big screen was such a proud moment. Robin and Monday Club president Dawn Turner were present after the showing for Q&A.

So pleased to announce that my short film, "The Monday Club and the Women Who Built It," will be screening at the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival! I'd like to thank Victoria Grostick for sponsoring the screening! The film was made possible by grants from the PG&E Better Together Giving Program and the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education.

The film jumps back to the early 1900s when women were learning how to organize and network. Here in San Luis Obispo County, there was lots of drama as local women organized to have a voice in the community. The Monday Club comes from their sweat and tears and is still thriving 100 years later!

Funded by San Luis Obispo County Office of Education and the SLOCOE Arts Collaborative. Another "thank you" goes to Studios on the Park for providing the location!
