It is not your job as a small business owner to perform political commentary.

You are not a newsroom.

You are not a journalist.

You are not obligated to translate your inner world into public declarations.

Your business account does not exist to process global conflict.

Your mission is not to become a public opinion broadcaster.

And pretending otherwise is part of a deeply broken modern expectation—one that pressures individuals to constantly perform virtue instead of living real, grounded lives.

I expected this post to land the way it did, because I know how many women are carrying this quietly.

There is a specific kind of guilt female founders carry right now. Pressure to speak. Pressure to perform care publicly. Pressure to prove awareness, compassion, and morality online while juggling real life, clients, kids, money, and mental load.

That pressure is exhausting. And it is not helping anyone.

I am seriously considering rebuilding Gather and Grow as a grounded support group for women who feel this weight. Not a hype community. Not a boss babe space. Not a performance arena.

A calm room where you can say
I feel guilty
I feel overwhelmed
I do not want to perform
I still care
I need somewhere to put this

A space for female founders to decompress, talk honestly, and stay human without being judged or pushed to posture.

If you would join something like that, comment “interested” or DM me. I want to build this with intention.

I wrote the full piece on Substack if you want to read the longer version. Link in bio.

Burnout doesn’t discriminate.

It shows up whether you’re a parent or not.
Whether you’re caring for kids, clients, partners, or everyone but yourself.

Which is exactly why the “only take advice from people with kids” take (see yesterday’s reel) misses the point.

Struggle isn’t a credential.
And exhaustion isn’t proof of expertise.

What actually changes things is structure. Clarity. Boundaries.
Systems that support a human nervous system—not just output.

That’s why The Nourished Practitioner was built by
a $10K/month solo LMT and a Systems Architect & Brand Designer (mother of two).

So whether you’re an MT with human littles, fur babies, or neither—the transformation is the same.

A practice that nourishes you as much as your clients.

Not to glorify burnout.
Not to compare who has it harder.

This is for massage therapists who are done making excuses for burnout and ready to do it differently.

Most of the business owners who find me already have something that technically works. They’re making money, they’re visible, and from the outside it looks fine. But behind the scenes, everything is being held together in their head. Too many systems that don’t really talk to each other, and the business requires constant attention. They’re tired, not because they’re lazy or doing it wrong, but because their infrastructure was never built to support growth.

They don’t need another tactic, another platform, or another person telling them to post more. What they actually need is less. They need systems that can hold the weight of the business they’re already running. They need a digital ecosystem that matches their capacity instead of constantly demanding more of it.

So instead of saying “buy my offer,” I talk about what changed when I stopped tolerating messy systems in my own business. I talk about what happens when your website, funnels, payments, and messaging finally live together under one digital roof. I show what life looks like when your business stops living in your nervous system and starts operating efficiently.

Every time I talk about time freedom, boundaries, and fewer moving parts, I’m unselling the alternative. I’m unselling duct-taped tech stacks, rebuilding every six months, and working harder just to stay in the same place. Selling only feels gross when you’re trying to extract. It stops feeling gross when you’re offering a solution you’d pay for again yourself.

I’m not selling hype. I’m not selling a product. I’m selling clarity, leverage, and what happens after you prune. If what you’re doing right now isn’t working, ignoring it doesn’t protect you. It just delays the rebuild.

Comment PRUNE.

Not because of “dysregulation.”
Not because of “distance from God.”
Not because of some insight you haven’t integrated yet.

Just because your body learned chaos first.

And when chaos was the baseline, calm doesn’t feel holy.
It feels suspicious.
It feels temporary.
It feels like something you’re about to lose.

That doesn’t mean anything is wrong with you.
It means your body is accurate.

You’re not confused about God.
You’re not failing at healing.
You’re not missing some final integration step.

You’re just in the weird middle where:
• life is quieter
• the danger is gone
• and your body hasn’t caught up yet

And honestly?
Trying to assign meaning to that too quickly is what feels like bu****it.

Because sometimes the truth is smaller and less poetic:

This feels unfamiliar because it is unfamiliar.
