Our Story

August 3, 2020

In January 2020, Jacque’s Giant Music Show went on hiatus from the airwaves. Those first two months I was busy cleaning up my laptop, and organizing my next project. March 20th came and along with it the country shut down and sequester. Everyone is scrambling to figure out their voice in this digital world. At this point, I’m thinking about a complete shut down and sit back and observe action plan. I’ll check back and keep updating the website, JacquesGiantMusicShow.com if there’s anything to add. ;-)

Back in the summer of 2016 I started a radio program called Jacque’s Giant Hudson Valley Music Show on 103.7 WPWL out of Pawling, NY. The program has grown and morphed into several different versions, adding a concert series, The Music Hall Showcase, PPR Live and most recently, “Sessions on East Main Live”! I’ve since added a Podcast, YouTube Channel and Soundcloud account. The station has also evolved and is now an Internet streaming station found on TheBeatoftheValley.com and PawlingPublicRadio.org. I’ve also shortened the show name to Jacque’s Giant Music Show to include original musicians from across the country. The show is also syndicated on WMLD out of Poughkeepsie, and can be heard Saturday mornings at 10 am streaming on https://masondecosmofoundation.org/wmld.html & the WMLD on Air App available where ever you buy your apps!

The future is looking great! I’m working with an extremely talented sound engineer at The Beat of the Valley, named Tommy Califano who has also been turning me onto Country. In March 2019 I celebrated my 100th show with a 2-band concert at Daryl’s House Club in Pawling that was broadcast live and can be heard on Soundcloud/JacqueButterfly.com.
