What's Your Story?

Stories are the tool used to share life through generations. They are used for entertainment and education. They allow us to experience emotions and thoughts through another's perspective.

Stories are the things we remember. We may not remember the exact details but we remember how the story made us feel.

Everyone has a story, let's tell it together.

West Point Association of Graduates

Duty Honor Country hits home after putting this video together. Much respect for West Point Association of Graduates and all they do.

This year, 41 West Point class rings were donated and melted as part of the WPAOG's 20th Class Ring Memorial Program Event, informally known as the "Ring Melt," in West Point's Haig Room.

West Point cadets, graduates, and families of ring donors gathered as the class rings were placed in a crucible to be melted, along with the Legacy Gold, into an ingot which will be used to produce the class rings for the Class of 2021.

The Ring Memorial Program creates a tangible connection between members of the #LongGrayLine through the sharing of the gold in their West Point class rings. Each year through the Ring Melt, gold from donated rings worn by past West Point graduates is melted and incorporated into new class rings for rising firsties, enabling them to β€œgrip hands” with graduates from the past.

The total number of West Point class rings that have been donated to the program and melted is now 616, with rings spanning the Classes of 1896 through 2001.
