26 years into making my dream come true, below is how it all started...

When I was just 4 or 5 years old I went on a family vacation with my parents to Nashville, TN. The one thing I can still remember the most today about that trip is me standing next to a real General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard tv show. After all these years, I still have a photo from that very day of me standing next to it. I've always been a Dukes fan and dreamed of getting my very on 69 Dodge Charger one day and turning it into a replica General Lee. In the Spring of 1998 , just before I was to graduate from high school, at 17 years old I found my Charger. I paid $2500.00 for it at the time, and it was rough, I had to rebuild the transmission, replace the gas tank, and much more just to get it drivable. I didn't care, I drove it day and night. Couldn't believe I had a 69 Charger.

I figure now that the car is up and running, it's time to retire the old page's name of restoring my 69 Dodge Charger and appropriately rename it to represent the 603GeneralLee.

Now that the car is up and running I hope to take it to lots of events in and around New Hampshire. If you see me out and about feel free to share a photo and tag the 603GeneralLee! If you see me stopped somewhere see if I'm broken down LOL just kidding. But feel free to say hello and ask for a photo or two of you with the car.

Thanks for all the support over the years, now stick around and follow me around on my new adventures.

Yeeeehaaaaa!

P.s. if you didn't know, 603 is New Hampshires area code, now you know 😎

Well, 41 years after little me got his picture taken next to Waylon Jennings General Lee back in 1985, As of yesterday, I finally have my own running and driving General Lee.

I bought this 69 charger back in 1998 when I was just 17 years old. Drove it for a couple years and then took it off the road in 2001, and for the first time in 25 years it is moving under its own power once again. What a great feeling it is to be driving this car oncd again, never mind the fact that it's now a General Lee of my very own!

It certainly wasn't easy and I could never have accomplished this without all of the help and support from my friends and family over the past 25 years.

So many people have helped me o er the years and I am so greatful. I will never be able to thank them all enough. But hope they'll join me for a cruise somewhere in it one day.

This is proof, not to ever give up on your dreams and your goals. If you want it badly enough you to work for it's to make it happen. Maybe, it will take longwr for some of us than it will for the others, and soooo what!

Anyway, I still have some more stuff to address and button up, but its looking like its going to be a kickass 2026!

~Jeff
