Lately, work has been eating up all my time, making it hard to post as much as I'd like. But, I did manage to carve out some time last weekend to enjoy this special brew from Great North Aleworks, which they released for Granite State Comicon back in September.

It's been hanging out in my fridge since then, and I have to say, I'm really impressed with the quality of this year's batch. The beer's got a smooth, drinkable quality with great malt sweetness that doesn't feel heavy or overly sugary.

As soon as I heard about this brew, I was determined to try it. A Lager featuring Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, and Allspice? It sounded incredibly appealing. Fortunately, it has exceeded my expectations, offering an explosion of delightful flavors. It is reminiscent of a gingerbread cookie in liquid form. Yule Lager is a truly exceptional beer from Hobbs Brewing Company, making it an ideal choice for the holiday season to share with friends and family.

This 8.7% ABV brew is basically a hug in a glass. It's perfect for those nights when you're planted by the fire, fighting over what to watch, or just trying to survive another family gathering. Think of it as a rich, dark Belgian ale that tastes like the holidays should—minus the stress.

Footy Pajamas has notes of dark fruit, brown sugar, and warming spices. Brewed with yeast cultured by New England College in Henniker, NH.

This beer is festive, a little silly, totally memorable, and yes, it might get you in a bit of trouble at 8.7%. But in the best way.

It's a limited seasonal release, so grab it while you can. Just maybe don't operate any heavy machinery afterward. Or BB guns.

I've had my fair share of peanut butter stouts, and let's just say most were a joke, but Feathered Friend Brewing's rendition was an awesome surprise. I love that I can actually taste the peanut butter instead of just the stout.
