I need 120,000 cans to take to the Oregon bottle drop. Officially on the Rolex waitlist.
GMT Master II — Batgirl and Bruce Wayne.
Now I have to pay for it. Time for a garage sale.
No timeline, no guarantees… just patience and a text thread with the AD.
Be honest — how long did you actually wait for yours?

Which watch company is having a better 2026 than - I don’t think it’s even a contest.
They own the $3k–$6k segment (no real competition)
This is the biggest reason.
Omega - creeping higher in price
Rolex - essentially unattainable at retail
Breitling / IWC - less cohesive identity
Tudor has become the default “serious first luxury watch”
You get:
In-house movements
Strong heritage design
Real brand credibility
At a price where people can still actually buy. Design language is absolutely dialed right now. Tudor has figured out something most brands haven’t:
Every release feels intentional and consistent.
Key strengths:
Snowflake hands (instantly recognizable)
Matte finishes vs high polish (tool > jewelry)
Proportions are improving across the board
Vintage inspiration without cosplay
Compare that to brands throwing spaghetti at the wall—Tudor is cohesive.
Product ex*****on is quietly elite. Tudor doesn’t get enough credit here:
METAS-certified movements (on newer releases)
Strong power reserves
Excellent bracelet quality (huge upgrade recently)
T-fit clasp = one of the best in the game
At the price point, they’re punching absurdly above weight

Unboxing my wife’s Tudor Royal 30mm with the salmon dial.
This is one of those pieces that looks completely different depending on the light—something most photos won’t capture. Definitely one you have to see in person.
If you’re building a versatile watch collection under the radar, this might deserve a spot.
Would you choose salmon over silver or black—and why?
