🐢🌊 Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center

This little center on Navarre Beach has a BIG mission! It’s a great educational stop for families to learn about sea turtles, marine life, conservation, and the simple things we can all do to help protect our beaches.

🐢 Meet Sweet Pea, their resident green sea turtle, and learn her incredible story
🐠 See fish, seahorses, lionfish, different turtles & other marine life
🌊 Learn why picking up trash and fishing line, filling in beach holes & respecting wildlife matters
🔴 Learn about turtle-friendly red lighting during nesting season & grab a red-light sticker from the gift shop
⏰ Plan on about an hour to explore and learn
📍 Located on Navarre Beach and only about 30 minutes from Pensacola Beach

Admission:
🎟️ Adults: $10
🎟️ Kids ages 4–12: $7
🎟️ Ages 4 & under: FREE

It may be a smaller center, but there is so much information packed inside. Definitely one to add to your list if you’re spending time in Navarre or Pensacola Beach! 🐢💙

Are you spending your Saturday with the pirates & mermaids at Holiday Inn Resort Pensacola Beach? 🏴‍☠️🧜‍♀️🌴

No?! Why not?! 😂☀️ Between mermaid swims, pirate fun, the lazy river, and being steps from the Gulf, this is definitely one of the most fun places for families on Pensacola Beach! 🌊

Yesterday after school we made the drive over to Ponce de Leon Springs State Park 💦🌿

Even though it “felt like 104°” outside 🥵, the crystal-clear spring water was a refreshing 68° — and stays around 68° year-round! Definitely wakes you up when you first get in 😂

And for only $4 per vehicle, it makes for such an easy and affordable day trip!

The Universal Studios FOMO has been REAL lately 😂⚡️🍺 I’ve been thinking about a frozen Butterbeer, so I finally had to try the 7 Brew version!

Definitely not my everyday coffee order because this one is more of a sweet treat… and has no coffee but OH it’s good 🤤 The closest thing I’ve found to satisfying that frozen Butterbeer craving without making a trip to Universal! 🪄✨

Pensacola Beach has been absolutely beautiful today with sunny skies, a nice breeze, calm Gulf waters, and an 84° water temperature. If you’re thinking about catching the sunset, it’s a perfect evening to head out.

🟩🟪 Today’s Beach Conditions (8/6):
• Green Flag – Calm surf
• Purple Flag – Marine life present (jellyfish have been spotted)
• Surf: 0.5 ft.
• Air Temp: 87°
• Water Temp: 84°

Enjoy the calm conditions, but be mindful of jellyfish if you’re getting in the water. Have a great evening at the beach!
