This is my pride flag. 🇺🇸

It represents freedom. Sacrifice. Opportunity. And the countless men and women who fought to preserve the liberties we often take for granted.

I love my country.

I love my flag.

And I’m not afraid to say it.

Happy Flag Day!

Thomas Jefferson sat down to draft a document that would explain to the world why the colonies believed independence was necessary.

His words would outlive him.

They would inspire nations.

And they would remind future generations that rights do not originate from governments.

The road to independence had reached the writing desk.

The American Revolution was fought with more than muskets.

In January 1776, Thomas Paine published Common Sense — a pamphlet that spread rapidly throughout the colonies and helped reshape public opinion.

Paine challenged monarchy, questioned British authority, and argued that independence was not only possible, but necessary.

Sometimes revolutions begin not with gunfire…but with ideas.

Pride Month?

Mine looks like this. 🇺🇸

I love my country.
I love my flag.
I'm grateful for the freedom generations fought to preserve.
And, I’m not ashamed to say it!

For American patriots, pride in our country isn’t limited to one month.

We were told disagreement was dangerous.

That words were violence.
That opposing views were harmful.
That silence was peace.

But healthy societies do not fear disagreement.

They debate ideas instead of silencing them.

The real danger is when people stop talking altogether.

In June 1775, the Continental Congress appointed George Washington commander of the Continental Army.

America was still not independent. Many still hoped for peace and reconciliation with Britain.

But events were moving quickly.

The colonies now had armed conflict, growing resistance, and a leader willing to shoulder enormous responsibility.

History often remembers victory. But leadership begins long before victory is guaranteed.

remember those who never got to come home and enjoy theirs.

Political disagreement is American.

Political violence is not.

We should all be disturbed by where this culture is headed.

You don’t have to like him, but stop trying to kill my President and his family.

America's Founders understood something modern America often forgets:
Freedom requires virtue.

Self-government only works when people possess morality, restraint, discipline, responsibility, and truth.

Liberty without character eventually destroys itself.
