Soccer Shots Peoria/Quad Cities is BACK! ⚽️

The back-to-school family-favorite soccer program is back in Peoria this fall, and we can’t wait!

Soccer Shots coaches can come to your child’s daycare or school, but some sessions are also spread across the Greater Peoria area! There are 14 “Public Programs” as well as 28 “Childcare/School Programs!”

The season’s ALMOST over at Fon du Lac Farm Park in East Peoria! 🐮

This is one of our family-favorites here in the Peoria area. You and your kids can feed horses, donkeys, pigs, cows, and see the chickens, ducks, fish and more!

This is the cutest outdoor space, with great walking paths (YES! Stroller-friendly).

We absolutely loved our time here this summer and would recommend to any family who enjoys the outdoors and farm animals.

There’s a fun reading adventure throughout the park you’ll need to keep an eye out for!

And make sure to check out the playgrounds outside the park, as well as their new splash pad! 🙌

The future Dutch Bros. At War Memorial/University is really coming along! ☕️

Have you ever had it? They’re known for their bubbly customer service, iced & hot coffees, energy drinks and frozen coffees.

Originally set to open in fall of this year. We’ll see as more construction takes place!

There’s an adorable, brand new children’s store now open in Dunlap!

Introducing The Little Thread Exchange ✨ a consignment boutique with the cutest clothes, shoes, toys and baby items you can think of!

Outside you’ll find a patio filled with chairs and tables and plenty of activities for your family before even going inside.

Then inside you’ll see all kinds of well-known brands for babies and kids of all ages! Looking for Halloween outfits? Books? Even onesies or Sleepies for the cooler, fall & winter months? They’ve got it! Sizes newborn to 10/12!

We loved looking around and meeting Rachel, the owner, who has such an amazing store! She’s a former teacher, and now… entrepreneur!

Everything we ate at the Illinois State Fair 🎡

Pizza Payaa - Bloomington Normal Pizza based in Normal, IL - we got The Honest Abe! Pepperoni, hot honey and basil. SO GOOD!

Island Delights - Bob Marley! Served in a pineapple. Refreshing.

Illinois Beef Association Ribeye Corral! Ribeye sandwich, steak & cheese skewer, cowboy potatoes and sweet corn. One of our fav stops every year!

Illinois Department of Agriculture tent - Apple cider slushie! Free with a ticket given out at Ribeye Corral.

Eggroll Love Cheesesteak egg roll, strawberry shortcake egg roll, and fries. So tasty!

Midwest Dairy ice cream flavor of the year! This year, Cruisin’ Candy Crunch! YUM.

Fried What!? - Fried Dough-e-Oreos. We get this every year. Maybe the greatest thing ever invented?

We love trying new foods each year, and returning to some of our family favorites.
