Birthday on a budget!

Last minute changes mean last minute decorations!

We originally planned on having a backyard party but due to weather we changed it to the community center. I didn’t have many decorations for the backyard so I had to run to dollar tree and come up with something. I spent less than $20 on decorations and I got so many compliments.

Parties don’t have to cost a lot. I can work with any budget to help make your littles day special!

I honestly have no idea how to start this so let me tell you about my favorite things.

First and foremost my kids are my favorite human beings. They are loud, messy, sweet, thoughtful, unique and SO FUNNY. I am the proud parent of a swimmer, tumbler and upcoming drummer. Watching them learn and grow fills my soul to the brim. I am at every event cheering them on quietly and sometimes loudly.

My second favorite thing to do is create things. Sometimes I create new recipes. Sometimes I create actual things with my hands but one thing I have always created is party invitations.

I have never been satisfied with the one-size-fits-all invitations at the store so I decided to create my own. Each of my kids birthdays are a different theme tailored to their current obsessions. One year it was Pokemon. Another it was Trolls. One of them even wanted a Christmas themed party in August. Her reasoning was so she could get double Christmas gifts.

I also couldn't get on board with the decorations at the store. I soon started making tailored decorations to go along with their eclectic themes. The year of Trolls I made an entire cookbook based on the real recipes in the movie. Spiderman wasn't complete without his light-up skyscraper vases. I also made the characters from UP out of tiny birdhouses for my sisters surprise party.

Needless to say, this is my calling. After YEARS of everyone telling me to start my own business, I made the leap. I am officially taking orders and requests for any and all parties or events. Big or small, I cover them all!
