When I was in 6th grade in art class we had to draw our own version of the sitting thinking 💭 man mine was mmm interesting😊

my art 🖼️ teacher loved it I took that as embarrassing I stopped drawing ✍️

Idk how to take compliments oh s**t!! 😱Wait I just figure that out… it was such a foreign concept to me as a little child didn’t grow up around that is why idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ how to take compliments but I’m trying to learn by just saying “thank you”and leaving it there without trying to diminish it.

Here we are at 39 took a hand painting ornament class. Now usually if there is wine 🍷 I have a glass but since I’m in my really is alcohol good for me space??

No alcohol and had to be okay being alone with strangers and painting without real direction except whole bunch of colors 🖍️

I did the painting and left that was enough out of my comfort zone time for me.

This weekend 🩵 going to do part 3️⃣ of my 40 before 40 series 😬

It was 2018 had just rented a chair at a salon with 3 clients and rent was due every month and that’s the day I decided to make social media work for me and started my own system ♥️

well s**t just like that my 30’s will be another chapter 📕I’m ready to move forward from

So yesterday I was thinking 💭 in between my laying in bed and should I go shopping 🛍️ mood

I’m turning 40 and I’ve done many things but haven’t tried things I know I will suck at or feel super like next level uncomfortable 🥴

And after coming back from taking my son vintage thrifting for the first time I said F**k it!!!

And so here we are waking up at 4:14AM with the idea to share it all over the next months my 40 things before I’m 40 years old🎉

Day one… this s**t took 2 hours to decorate (trying to hold myself back from making it pretty and themed was hard)

I suck at putting the base down that’s my husband jobs usually but lesson one learned.

There is beauty in the weird not perfect 4 different set of lights that don’t match leaving to the right Christmas tree 🎄
