filming some stuff for my homie Calvin Millar’s ATX skate video called “The Devils Toy”. It was a remake of the 1966 original film. The video featured atx skateboarding and parts from several legendary homies and friends section parts. Usually behind the camera but had to get some clips for this one.

Photo shoot today but this time in front of the camera. Thanks to the talented Andrew Augustin for giving me an opportunity to tell my story. From my start filming skateboarding getting to collaborate with national brands like adidas, converse, emerica, 411VM, Roger, The Berrics and more. To the 100 music video run having work featured on MTVJams, BetJams, worldstar, Austin Chronicle, OVRLD, mymixtapes and more. Directing & filming a couple indie feature films then a little about returning to the hometown for the Pflugerville Chapter. It’s only right we took some photos on Main Street where it all started shredding the streets where there used to be a set of 2 stairs here before it got paved over to a ramp style sidewalk. I even saw a couple cops circle the block after skating around in the street 🤣🤣 hopefully no one called but as skateboarders were used to getting kicked out of everywhere.
That’s never stopped anything tho.

Long Live Mo3

I first met Mo3 in Houston when I was on tour with Blac Youngsta. There was talks about Mo3 signing to CMG records at the time (Yo Gotti’s label). Later Mo3 had a show in Austin, I pulled up to link up and talk about filming a music video. When Mo3 saw me he instantly recognized me from being on tour and asked me to come to the studio after the show. We talked about filming a music video the next day and I sat in the booth and listed to him record some verses. The next day his manager Rainwater called me but I was busy at the moment and the timing just didn’t work out. I figured it was ok and we’d eventually link up to do a music video. Within a year he was gunned down on IH35 in Dallas/Oakcliff. The rap game can be brutal and in some cases is basically the streets. During my 100 music video run I’ve been in some sketchy situations, especially when I was on tour. Three of the people I was on the road with are also deceased to gun violence. Youngsta was trying to sign me at the time, but I declined the deal and came back to Austin. I like hip hop music but in a lot of cases it’s not just music.
Today Mo3’s k1ller was sentenced to life without parole for capital M and there another case coming up next week including others that if found guilty makes it M for hire. A lot of life’s lost due to bull s**t ego. This was a high profile case but it happens all the time, everyday. Prayers for all involved and although Mo3’s family and kids gets justice today, in reality no one wins in situations like this.
