Plans unveiled for Mark Zuckerberg’s $260m bunker on hidden island. Mark Zuckerberg wants to build a massive compound in Hawaii. The compound will accommodate farming as well as office space but it’ll also include a doomsday bunker. The property spans 110 acres but rather than building yet another mansion for himself, Zuck wants to build a doomsday bunker, which is apparently the latest flex for billionaires.

Known as the Aultmore House, it is located in the Cairngorm National Park, and was bought by Dylan and his younger brother, David Zimmerman for $2.8 million. They have been visiting the home for a few weeks every year, but haven't done so since 2020. The home is set in a remote area, and its privacy is one of the reasons the brothers bought the home in the first place. The 18,357 square foot home has 16 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms and had been renovated in 2007 which added modern wiring, heating, and water systems throughout the property. All of the period details remain, though, like an entry hall containing a limestone staircase with a wrought iron and wooden balustrade.
