Scholarship applications are now open for the ACS 2026 Annual Conference in Louisville, Kentucky! Thanks to the support of the American Cheese Education Foundation, we will grant multiple general scholarships along with a variety of named scholarships to our community.  There will be a mixture of full and partial scholarships that cover registration, a travel stipend, and/or hotel cost along with several named scholarships made possible by our generous donors. Applications close on February 26th - link below to apply.

The Cutting the Curd team is deeply saddened by the loss of Boo Simms, a beloved member of our cheese community and co-founder of Lady & Larder. Boo’s unwavering support for artisan cheesemakers, farmers, and responsible sourcing set a standard for mindfulness and care in our industry. Her passion, brilliant energy and generosity left an indelible mark. Our thoughts are with her twin sister, Sarah Simms, and the entire Simms family during this difficult time. We are so proud to have spent time with her here on CTC. Boo’s legacy will continue to inspire us all.
