After a few years of running DIY shows, recording DIY records, playing in DIY bands, Jake Lepley, Isaac Tucker, and Brett Rudder thought it would be cool to make DIY a little more professional. With the blessing from their wives, they began to put their ideas and talents together in an effort to curate, create, develop, promote, and evangelise local songwriters in Central PA - close to their homes, and close to their hearts. Music is different. You don’t have to go to LA or NYC to hear the best song ever written. It’s likely that the person who wrote it plays during a summer night behind your town house in Small Town, USA. The music industry itself started on the backs of regular people, who were playing songs they made themselves or heard through years of family pickin’ and singin’ on the front porch. Those songs are still being written today, and we’d like to share them with the rest of the world.
