It you ask Philadelphians about Senator John Fetterman, it's already time to talk about a primary challenge ahead of his 2028 re-election campaign.

Fetterman, who was elected as a blue-collar progressive in 2022, now holds a 22% approval rating among Pennsylvania Democrats. Small-dollar donations collapsed 90% in three quarters. Sixteen of his own former campaign staffers published an open letter calling his "evolution" a "gutting betrayal."
