Can the New York Yankees stay afloat without Aaron Judge? Judge is headed to the IL, and it could be a lengthy stay. Perhaps into August with a cracked rib. Since 2021 the are 45-58 without Judge, and 453-316 with. That's a .437 win percentage without versus .589 with. It could be the perfect time for someone like Jazz Chisholm to get hot and make up for some of the offensive loss with the 6' 7" outfielder out of action.

Sportsnet was the first to report the news, which should send shock waves across the NHL ahead of the summer draft and free agency period.

Larkin has a full no trade clause in his contract through next season, meaning he will have control over his destination.

Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Brayden McNabb left Thursday's Game 2 loss in the Stanley Cup Final against the Carolina Hurricanes after taking a puck to his face in the first period.

McNabb was defending in front of Vegas goalie Carter Hart when Hurricanes forward Nikolaj Ehlers fired a shot from inside the blue line.

The puck, traveling 87 mph, hit McNabb around the visor. He dropped to the ice before eventually getting to his skates, clutching his nose as he quickly left.

Seth Jarvis scored on the power play in overtime after Carolina erased a deficit in regulation only to give up a late tying goal, and the Hurricanes beat the Vegas Golden Knights 4-3 in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final on Thursday night.

The series is now tied 1-1. Game 3 is at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday in Vegas.

Detroit Lions rookie wide receiver Kendrick Law suffered a torn ACL during Tuesday's OTA practice in a noncontact drill.

Law was selected in the 5th round of the 2026 NFL draft out of Kentucky after the Lions traded up 13 spots to land him at No. 168.

After trading for defensive end Myles Garrett this week, the Los Angeles Rams and the reigning Defensive Player of the Year have agreed to a reworked contract.

The reworked deal includes an increase in total compensation for the 2026 season, which was previously $31.5M and included per-game roster bonuses.

Garrett's 2026 total compensation will be at least $37M

A fan who ran onto the Frost Bank Center court during the fourth quarter of Wednesday night's NBA Finals and attempted to take a selfie with San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama was arrested and given a lifetime ban from all NBA arenas.

The incident, which halted play during the New York Knicks' 105-95 Game 1 victory, occurred with 6:28 remaining and New York holding a 92-86 lead.

The fan ran onto the court with a cellphone in his right hand, stopped in front of Wembanyama and Knicks center Mitchell Robinson near the 3-point line and then quickly was pushed away by two security guards as he attempted to take the picture.
