The City Pigeons family is deeply saddened by the passing of our friend Dan McQuade. Dan was a big supporter of our show from the start and made appearances on multiple occasions. He had a truly unique sense of humor and authenticity that allowed him to capture and chronicle the great spirit of Philly like no one else could. One example of this was his Philly Football Bootleg T Shirt Exhibition - an event we co-hosted with Dan at the Coop that showcased his collection of hundreds of bootleg t-shirts that he acquired in the parking lot of the sports complex over the years. It was the best event we’ve ever been a part of, and no one other than Dan would’ve ever thought to do it or have the collection to pull it off. This is just one example and there are so many more. We will miss you Dan, rest in peace brother.

Scalettar, the director of Netflix’s NBA docu-series “Starting 5.” Here he talks about what it was like having Tyrese Halliburton and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, 2 of the main characters on the show, end up meeting in the NBA Finals. We’ll have immaculate vibes and all you can eat and drink food/beer/spirits courtesy of . Come as early as you want but official start time will be 11:00 AM and we will be in our usual spot on the border of M/O Lot on the Darien St. side. On Sunday, it begins. A journey that we hope will lead us back to Broad St. once again. The Birds of a Feather Wild Card Round Tailgate is THE place to get it started. As always, our OG crew at is bringing the beer and if you’ve ever experienced a spread from and then you know you will be eating good. And how does this all come together for the good fans of Philadelphia FOR FREE you ask? It’s the City Pigeons fool and we are out here for the community. Another year of the Pigeons, another year doing it all for the vibes and the vibes only. We are very thankful for this crew and anyone that’s been a part of it in any way. There were a solid amount of shenanigans in 2024, but it’s safe to say there will need to be A LOT more in 2025. WHO’S IN?!?! Maybe we should start with a playoff tailgate 🤔 GO BIRDS!!!
