Well everyone, this is it. This is for all of the marbles. We have made it to Super Bowl Sunday, which in our opinions, should be a national holiday😏…This is what all of us football fans have worked our way towards all year, watching all of the games, placing all of our bets ( 😏), doing our research…all of it. All of it goes into this very game. So let’s get into it…
Super Bowl VIII brings us a fantastic matchup between the San Francisco 49ers, and the Kansas City Chiefs, as two of the better teams in the NFL find themselves in the big game. You might be thinking “Haven’t I seen this before?”…and you would be correct, as this is a rematch of the 2019-2020 Super Bowl, where the
Chiefs came back to defeat the 49ers in Miami.
For the Chiefs, they are the underdogs in this game, which can always be a dangerous thing. They still have most of, if not all of the same core from the 2019 season. Patrick Mahomes and company will look to get their 3rd ring in the last 6 years, while also trying to go back-to-back.
For the 49ers, they find themselves in yet another Super Bowl, after finally overcoming their kryptonite, aka the NFC Championship Game. Some might say they have the best overall roster in the league, plus they also have the awesome story of QB Brock Purdy, who is looking to become the 3rd youngest QB ever to win a Super Bowl.
No matter who wins this game, let’s all say “Cheers!” to yet another Super Bowl! Enjoy the game everyone!
