Finally made my way to Davis Feed Mill for wheat bran for the mealworm project (40 lbs for $10) Tractor Supply was also in the neighborhood so we have cattle panels (16 feet at $34 each) Great prices make the trip worthwhile. A few more reasons to smile today 😊

The sand seems to be working πŸ’ͺ I see very few fungus gnats today. And it seems I can turn the lights off a bit more. Some of the plants are showing signs of light stress. ✨️ So much to smile about 😊

Using sand for germinating seeds might be a new thing for me ... can you see the roots?!? Easy to scoop out and separate...
