After nearly a decade of legal and public pressure, students are now able to make money from their likenesses, images, and names, in order to give them a slice of the billions generated from collegiate sports each year.

IS this the same Upbeat News that wrote the following Article? After finishing his role in Growing Pains, Cameron began voicing his hateful militant Christian opinions in every opportunity he could find. Cameron loved telling media outlets about his disdain for “sinners,” primarily homosexuals and women. Needless to say, Cameron can’t find a job, and will likely never find one ever again.
If your staff are so cowardly that they don't include their email adddreess, please don't litter the Internet with their posts.
Topic #1: Your contact form doesn't work: https://upbeatnews.com/contact-us It always reports "419 Page Expired" Topic #2: The "[email protected]" email address, which is given in many places on your site, does not work, either. Topic #3: Will you please correct an error on this web page? https://upbeatnews.com/spa/never-before-seen-photos-of-the-most-chilling-moments-in-history/5 It says: "A British merchant removes restraints from a slave’s ankle in 1907. Over 3.4 million Africans were brought to North America by British slave traders over the course of 245 years. Slavery was abolished in the early 20th century, which is when this photo was taken." That's wrong. There was no slavery in North America in the 20th century. When Cuba abolished slavery in 1886, that ended the last vestige of legal slavery in North America. On the North American mainland, Union victory in the American Civil War, in 1865, abolished slavery in most places, and ratification of the 13th Amendment, on December 6, 1865, eliminated the last few exceptions, except within the territories of several American Indian Tribes. Treaties between the United States and those Tribes abolished slavery there, as well, in 1866. I found the story of that photograph, here: https://web.archive.org/web/20100322222924/https://www.metro.co.uk/news/47146-rare-slave-freeing-photos-on-show The photo was taken "on board HMS Sphinx off the East African coast in about 1907." That's the Indian Ocean, far from North America. The crew of the HMS Sphinx were "engaged in subduing the slave trade" in the region. The freed slave in that photo was probably intended for a slave market in a nearby Muslim country. By 1907, only Muslims were still engaged in the slave trade. Slavery wasn't abolished on the Arabian Peninsula until the 1960s (1970 in Muslim Oman), and it persists to this day, technically illegal, but widely tolerated by the government, in Muslim Mauritania: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavery_in_Mauritania
The "contact us" page on your website doesn't work. You always get "419 page expired" when you click submit. I was trying to tell you that there are some GLARING omissions from your "Most Disturbing Films" list. Plus you cite the American remake of "Funny Games," when the Austrian original is MUCH more disturbing. The next time you're working on a movie list, contact me before you publish it ... I can ALWAYS suggest improvements.
This opening page is mild. Other Upbeat pages obscure the story with ads overlapping the story and each other. To what point? Annoying those whom you want reading your story? Hint...if the word “upbeat” heads the page, save your time and move on. Reading it is a trial!
maybe more people would read your crap if there weren't so many fricken ads covering the entire dam article. .
Will never click on another article with your domain name or website. Too many pops ups that make you site annoying as all hell.
I DO NOT WANT - NOR HAVE I EVER GIVEN PERMISSION OR LIKED YOUR PAGE - TO HAVE ANYTHING FROM THIS PAGE ON MY PAGE, AND I CANNOT SEE WHERE I CAN CLICK ON ANYTHING TO STOP YOU. SO STOP YOURSELF! DAMMIT!
