Guitar wizard Thomas Amoriello returns with his new album, Phantom Sounds. To no one's surprise the new album is packed full of heavy, face smashing riffs, amazing fast, technical and soulful leads. He brings some of his friends on various songs as well. Will Shaw, Herbi Langhans and one of the best axe slingers around, the beautiful six string queen Sonia Anubis from Crypta and Cobra Spell. Amoriello encompasses all aspects of heavy metal, from classic Deep Purple, Rainbow, NWOBHM, and of course some flat-out shred and heavy as hell songs. “Medieval Warrior”, “Unruly King” and “Villain” are heavy fist pumping battle worthy songs. “Witching Hour Blues” has that deep, dark and heavy sound that will have you making that stink face as you air guitar those bluesy leads. “Funhouse Opus 13” is a fiery head banging instrumental that features Sonia Anubis. The keyboard work throughout the album is done masterfully as well. They flow in and out of the songs smoothly and while making them very noticeable and interictal they never overpower or seem out of place. Overall Mr. Amoriello has put forth another phenomenal album and in my humble opinion, Phantom Sounds is his best work to date. Although we’re early in the year, there’s no doubt Phantom Sounds will be one of the best releases of the year. Well, unless Mr. Amoriello gifts us with another album by years end. Phantom Sounds drops March 15th so Get it, crank it up and long live Heavy F**king Metal!!!

We're happy to announce our reunification with Carlos Alvarez of Dirty Viking Audio Production (and guitarist of POWER THEORY), who is in charge of mixing our upcoming full-length album.

"It was a completely unexpected and awesome surprise when the guys reached out to me asking if I'd be interested in working on this with them. Having previously worked on their albums 'At The Expense Of Humanity' and 'The Last Emperor,' I'm thrilled to be back in the fold and doing my small part to help them achieve their goals in their musical journey. Hey all!

Some new and exciting developments happening! The recordings for Last Breed have been going great. Robert Ballinger Jr wrapped up all his guitars last month and Fowler London blasted out an album's worth of solos in 1 session ... absolutely nailed it :) Little bit of bass left and then I'll be working with their singer Caesar D. Ettore to bring it all together.

In addition to that, mixing one song for a friend of 30 years Curt Taylor resulted in him being so happy with the result he threw a few more at me, with a few more to follow lol

Lastly, a truly surprising and unexpected new project has just given to me and I'm super thrilled to be a part of it. Can't say anything more than that for the moment :) Unfortunately that means yet again, my Shadowdance album must go on the back burner for a little while however I did almost finish writing the bass so it'll just be a matter of final bass tracking and then mixing

Oh yeah, new Pro Tools rig coming in hot so my brother from a French mother Brett Caldas-Lima can finally stop picking on me lol

That's a wrap!!! All guitars for the forthcoming Amoriello album have been completed. Thomas Amoriello knocked his solos out in one session yesterday like a boss, great job man! Mixing is almost complete, waiting on a couple of last minute performance tracks to arrive and then off to mastering. Can't wait for you all to hear this excellent collection of hard hitting tunes with fantastic guest performances from some true metal heavyweights \m/

I've had the pleasure of working with these guys on a couple of their previous albums and its been a real trip seeing them grow into the force they've become.
