What is fake news? We’ve heard this concept bandied about in both conservative and liberal media, but what does it mean and how has it impacted our lives? What are our responsibilities as media consumers to assure that we inadvertently do not aid the spread of misinformation?

This Sunday, join Dr. Elliot Ratzman, award-winning journalist Evan Benn, and the founder of the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival, Benjamin Barnett, for a frank conversation about truth and democracy in our digital-global age.

TRUTH IN THE AGE OF FAKE NEWS AND DISINFORMATION will take place this Sunday, December 8 from 4 - 4:50 PM at the National Museum of American Jewish History as part of the Jewish New Media Festival.
