From the mythical radio station WMTA in Mount Airy (Philly's most diverse neighborhood) Mount Airy Home Companion sends up public radio and American Idol in skits featuring the Mount Airy Players, while celebrating Hannukah and Christmas Northwest Philly style. Inspired by Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home Companion, the show runs twice a year (May and December) and offers humorous skits, seasonal
