Happy 14th Anniversary to my photography career! It’s hard to believe it’s been 14 years since I lost my job and decided to take a huge leap of faith on something that started as just a hobby. What felt like a scary risk at the time turned into one of the greatest blessings of my life. These past 14 years have been filled with amazing people, unforgettable moments, and memories that I’ve had the honor of capturing for so many families.

From senior sessions and weddings to family photos and everything in between, every session has meant something special to me. Watching families grow, seeing seniors chase their dreams, and being trusted to capture such important moments in people’s lives is something I will never take for granted.

Life is really great right now, and this year is already shaping up to bring some new changes and exciting adventures. I’m looking forward to continuing to grow, create, and see where this journey leads next.

Logan’s senior photos at Ives Run on October 8th were the perfect mix of soft fall color and natural beauty. The wildflowers were still hanging on while the trees were starting to show off their autumn colors, giving her session such a beautiful blend of seasons.

Between the fields and the hints of fall in the background, every spot felt like the perfect place to capture this exciting milestone. Logan’s easygoing personality made the whole session feel relaxed and genuine, and it really shows in her photos.

Karter’s senior session at Hills Creek State Park on October 2nd had everything you hope for in a fall shoot. The colors were starting to peak, giving the whole park that rich autumn backdrop of reds, oranges, and golds. Between the open areas and the fall foliage, it made for the perfect setting to capture this big milestone in his life.

To wrap up the session, Karter brought out his wrestling medals and showed off the results of all the hard work he’s put into the sport. It was a great way to end the shoot and highlight something that’s been such a big part of his high school years.

The Gonzales Family session on September 28th was a special one. This marked the 10th year I’ve had the honor of capturing their family photos.

We met at Colton Point State Park, surrounded by beautiful fall colors, towering trees, and the incredible views of the PA Grand Canyon. The trees, the colors, and that view all came together perfectly for another great year of photos with this awesome family.

Seeing families grow and being trusted to capture their memories year after year is one of the best parts of this job.

March marks 14 years of me doing what I love behind the camera.

Fourteen years of weddings.
Fourteen years of late nights editing.
Fourteen years of learning, growing, failing, improving, and pushing myself to be better every single season.

Looking back at some of my early wedding work compared to now — the difference isn’t just in lighting, gear, or editing style. It’s in perspective.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned over the years is this:
Photography isn’t just about posing people beautifully. It’s about being ready.

Ready for the tear that falls during vows.
Ready for the quiet hand squeeze before walking down the aisle.
Ready for the uncontrollable laughter during speeches.
Ready for the in-between moments no one planned for — but everyone will remember.

Anyone can pose a photo.
But capturing moments? That takes awareness, experience, and heart.

I’m incredibly grateful for every couple, every senior, every family that has trusted me over the past 14 years. You’ve allowed me to grow into the photographer I am today.

And we’re just getting started.

Kelsey and Hunter’s family session on September 27th was everything I love about fall. 🍂

The colors were showing off, the light was perfect, and being on their family’s land made it even more meaningful. Watching them love on their sweet baby in a place that holds so many memories for them made this session extra special.

September 23rd at Lamb's Vista gave us the perfect fall backdrop—beautiful autumn colors, a little rain, and a whole lot of love.

Harleigh’s senior photos on her family’s land were nothing short of breathtaking. We had the most beautiful sunset glowing across the sky, reflecting off the pond and wrapping everything in that warm, golden light.
