My fiancΓ© and I stood there shocked. So I called the venue coordinator, expecting an answer.
Me: Where is everyone?
C: What do you mean?
Me: NO!! Hey, we arrived at our venue, but no one was there.

I HEARD OUR BABY CRYING WHILE I WAS IN THE SHOWER & MY WIFE WAS WATCHING TV – WHEN I ENTERED HIS ROOM, I SCREAMED IN PURE SHOCK.

My wife was sitting in the recliner, watching her iPad right outside the kids' bedrooms. I figured I was in the clear to take a long shower. When I turned the shower off, I heard my 3-year-old crying and screaming for daddy. I hurried.

As I walked through the family room, I looked at my wife (still sitting and watching her iPad) and said, "You couldn't calm him down?" She replied, "No, I tried three times."

I went into his room and picked him up. I felt what I thought were tears dripping down my shoulder. I thought, "Poor guy has been so upset for so long."

I laid him in bed and started tucking him in. He said, "I made a mess." I figured it was just tears and snot. I grabbed some wipes and tissues and turned on the flashlight on my phone.

When I shone the light on him, I was so shocked that I literally SCREAMED!⬇️ See less

MY 18-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER ALMOST MARRIED A 60-YEAR-OLD MAN, I WAS SHOCKED UNTIL I OVERHEARD THE TRUTH.

My just-turned-adult daughter left me speechless by saying she's going to marry a 60-YEAR-OLD MAN. To say I was floored would be putting it mildly. I rushed to convince her not to do it:

Me: "Honey, WHY HIM? Find someone your own age... He's more like a grandpa to you!"

Daughter: "He is my fiancΓ©, and you won't stop me! THE CEREMONY is on Friday."

Me: "WHAT??? That's next week!"

Daughter: "I LOVE HIM! If you meddle, you'll never see me again."
