Your(e) Beautiful Philly 2.4.12 Spread the Love in Philadelphia! What happens when Philly shows love? It’s cold in this city, and it’s not just the snow. We can feel it in strangers passing by.

In a crowded bus, in a long line, or in a newspaper headline.

We will conduct a social experiment. What happens when you smile at a stranger? What happens when you show others what, who, and how you love? What happens when you hand someone a flower just for passing by? This is not a protest. We are not trying to find out what causes violence. We are not trying to find someone to blame. We

have no political or religious affiliation. We come from every neighborhood, every age, every background. We’ve seen what happens when we get angry. We want to know what happens when we show love. Please join us in Rittenhouse Square to show what this city is all about. Participate in a collaborative art project by writing, drawing, or speaking about love. Make a memory to keep forever with a local photographer. Bring flowers or make small gifts to hand out to strangers. Make your voice heard. Make someone’s day. We want Your(e) Beautiful Philly to belong to everyone and we thought that if we were to apply for the Philly Stake dinner, we wanted your input on our application.
