Philadelphia has always been a city of neighborhoods, with each having their own unique culture, beauty, and challenges. On Friday, we filmed in Southwest Philly, and even though the two CEF clubs we filmed were only 10 minutes apart, the differences were real and created unique opportunities for our students to love these communities.

Just a personal story for a moment. I worked for CEF Bucks-Mont for 7 summers. Now, as Katie and I begin our new endeavors of Parable Visual Ministries and C3:16 Productions, it was really cool to go back to one of the first CEF day clubs I ran. I ran this club probably 12 years ago alongside some great friends. This time, rather than lead songs or tell a story, I got to use the camera to communicate what God is doing in Philadelphia.

These students are amazing! Wednesdays at Flood Philly are always challenging. It's hot, the students and leaders are tired, but it's awesome to see how everyone rises to the occasion and God works in the midst of our exhaustion.We also go to the Newtown Athletic Club pool which is pretty cool.

Every year Child Evangelism Fellowship of Bucks and Montgomery counties trains over a hundred students to share the love of Jesus with the city of Philadelphia and then sends them out for a week to serve some of the most amazing communities in the city. This year, we have partnered with CEF to highlight and encourage the awesome work these teens are doing by filming and editing daily recap videos.
