The word of the month is CELEBRATE.

Late last month my Great Uncle passed away. I am choosing to celebrate his life and remember what he told us. He was 93 and he was every bit of awesome! Our family will miss him dearly.

Even though we cannot be with loved ones or friends we still need to take the time to celebrate our wins. It's so important to acknowledge when we accomplish our goals.

What accomplishments are you proud of for this year and for September?

My accomplishments from last month:

1. Hired a virtual assistant
2. Bought a new domain
3. Survived the first month of homeschool
4. No longer need Melatonin to go to sleep
5. Completed all SEO work for my monthly clients

We made it! For some of us it’s rest and relaxation but for others this time is spent thinking about what the next move is. For content creators every moment is an opportunity to curate something.

👍THUMBS UP OR DOWN 👎: Are you a procrastinator?

True story: A client of mine received a phone call, direct email and a message via Facebook in regards to a working relationship. My client (not at that time) ignored all of the messages because he thought he couldn’t handle the volume and he procrastinated because the resources he should of had in place he did not. The assertive client he would of had lost interest and went to somewhere else.

THAT’S A PROCRASTINATOR!!!! 😡

He could of returned the message at the very least but instead he procrastinated in responding because he “thought” he wouldn’t be able to accommodate his potential client.

Even if you KNOW you can not accommodate the LEAST you can do is provide a response! 😩 You will NEVER know if the client has flexibility, etc. if you don’t respond or ask questions.

Moral of the story: DON’T PROCRASTINATE 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣

Some tips and tricks I would like to share some tips & tricks for getting through COVID-19 as a business owner:

1. Continue promoting and sharing your content - continue business as usual if you can. Someone out there can still benefit from what you are offering / sharing.

2. Collab, Collab, Collab - now is the time to pair up with business owners that share your passion or have fun ideas that you can share on your page. Connect and ask is all you need to do the worst thing is a "no".

3. Recycle content - just like step 1 reuse your previous content or update it.

4. Change it up - revisit your website, blog, etc. and change the font or even the colors of your site. Now is the time to change it up and revive your brand.

5. Admit your shortcomings - be relatable and share what's going on. I am guilty of this because I am so busy helping my clients but I strive for this each and every day.

Since I have had my business I often struggle with keeping up with preparing my own content. The reason is.....I help so many entrepreneurs and small businesses that often leads to me not focusing on my own brand.
