Benefits of Using Drones let's see 3 examples...

A Safer Option: An Inspector no longer has to put into potentially dangerous situations.

Save Money: Eliminating scaffolding or other temporary one-time structures to facilitate a manual inspection.

Savings Liability Insurance: By significantly reducing the amount of time personnel is placed in a dangerous situation companies can reduce their corresponding insurance costs.

How are drones used in construction?

Let's look at 3 examples...

1) PRE-PLANNING. Drones provide visual data that can be translated into accurate 3D maps. Which can then be used to determine the best location for a building.

2) LAND SURVEY. Traditional land-surveillance techniques are gradually being replaced by drones. They drastically reduce the amount of labor and time required to conduct reliable surveys. Drones remove much of the human error in the process and can collect data in a fraction of the time it takes for conventional methods.

3) PROGRESS REPORTS. It's important to maintain contact with your investors. You'll be sure to impress them with monthly progress reports via photo and video set. The visuals can also be sent to customers, helping them to stay informed about how things are progressing in terms of time and budget.

(Part 2/3) The E in "AEC" stands for Engineering.

How are drones used in the engineering-infrastructure industry?

Let's look at 3 examples....

1) INCREASING PRODUCTIVITY. Drone data speeds up everyday operations and cuts down on time spent on labor-intensive activities including large-scale inspections and renovations. Engineers may prioritize their responsibilities and produce the most productive work by allocating resources and labor to the most important tasks.

2) IMPROVING INFRASTRUCTURE.
Drone footage provides engineers with the information they need to make the best decisions and prioritize solutions to their problems and determine terrain conditions, best access points, potential hazards, and more with just one drone flight.

3) MAINTAINING SITE SAFETY
With a drone inspectors no longer have to put themselves in hazardous areas. AEC Aerial Imaging can simply perform an inspection without risking safety.

(Part 1/3) The A in "AEC" stands for Architecture.

How are drones used in architecture? Let's look at 3 examples...

1) MORE DETAIL. While satellite imagery is often used by architects for sight planning, these images are often low resolution and provide less data. Drone photography and videography provide more detailed data.

2) PROGRESS MONITORING. Aerial Photography is by far the most common application of drones in architecture. They help keep an eye on the construction progress.

3) CREATE MARKETING MATERIALS. With a drone, taking photographs and video footage is much simpler - and less expensive - than with other aerial methods. You can now develop marketing print or video ads that previously takes long to produce.

Drones in construction?

Let's look at 3 examples:

🔸Pre-construction
Drones provide visual data that can be translated into accurate 2D or 3D maps. Which can then be used to determine the best location for a building or asset.

🔸 Construction Monitoring

Drones are often used on active sites for site surveillance. You can get high resolution imagery with weekly, bi-weekly or monthly site visits, allowing you to be on site even if your schedule doesn't allow it.

🔸 Facade Inspections

Facade inspections for property management companies, building owners and contractors. Instead of erecting time-consuming scaffolds, swing stages and bucket trucks, to just look at the building. With a drone that will no longer be needed

Have you ever tried to photograph a high-contrast scene, only to be frustrated when you find that the pictures you snapped just don’t do it justice?

Welcome to HDR Photography

HDR stands for “high dynamic range.”
Dynamic range is the difference between the lightest and darkest part you can capture in a photo.

Once your subject exceeds the camera’s dynamic range, the highlights tend to wash out to white, or the darks simply become big black blobs as you'll see in these examples.

How does it work?

We are aware that doing anything for the first time can be nerve-wracking. Especially if you start working with a new company.

Which is why we created a "How it Works" Page on our website, and its only 6 steps. That isn't too painful.... right?

Have you seen our FAQ Page on our website?

Look at the first question on the FAQ page:

"Is it necessary for the drone pilot I employ to be licensed?

Yes, indeed. Your cousin or friend might have a drone, but it does not mean they are allowed to fly for payment. This is considered a commercial drone flight, which requires a FAA Drone operator license. The FAA is known for fining companies that's fly without a license. Just last year (December 2020) a pilot was fined $182,000 for flying commercially without a license. "
