It’s hard to believe this was just days before Maverick came home.

After spending months surrounded by monitors, wires, and hospital walls, he was finally awake enough to quietly take in the world around him. Watching his little eyes explore everything felt like a glimpse of the life we’d been dreaming of since the day he was born.

It’s amazing how something as simple as looking around can mean so much after such a long NICU journey. 💙

Every tiny milestone mattered. Every single day brought us one step closer to home.
