On the morning of July 27, 2025, invading Thai forces continued their deliberate assault on the sacred Preah Vihear Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that the international community has a duty to safeguard. The Thai military launched a fresh armed incursion, deploying heavy artillery and firing directly at the temple complex, resulting in extensive and irreparable damage to multiple sections.
