Veterans and supporters gathered at the Arizona State Capitol today. About 30,000 jobs within the Department of Veterans Affairs are disappearing — down from a proposed 80,000 layoffs as part of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) initiative.

The FAA just banned business aviation at 12 of the nations busiest airports, including Sky Harbor, to ease the workload of air-traffic controllers. That no private jet travel in and out of Phoenix for now.

As the government shutdown continues, over 50 flights were canceled and nearly 260 flights were delayed at Phoenix Sky Harbor as of 3 p.m. Monday.
