Established in 2015, it has sought to use forward thinking and a creative vision with the help of talented individuals to establish itself firmly into the Video Game Industry. Founded in Phoenix, Arizona by Leonard Herndon and Matt Stump. Their first game Chroma Shift, which is currently in development, takes

the classic shooter genre and throws a layer of story intrigue on top with the hopes of adding a small twist to an old favorite.

Chroma Shift | Remnants is starting to look like Chroma Shift | Remnants once again! Since the last post, we have added back the skybox with some background objects. The grav break has been reintroduced for making quick stops at high speeds and the kinetic barrier (shield) is reincorporated so that the player has some measure of defense. We have been working on fine tuning the movement for basic stationary obstacle avoidance although this is only a first pass. Fine tuning will continue once obstacles with movement are once again in place. The website is in the works along with the Steam Early Access playable demo. As stated in previous updates, this demo will be quite basic to start out but will be regularly updated with improvements and additional features.

Basic collision is added back in which takes into account enemy / obstacle color and whether it is a hard pass (player must be exact color as enemy / obstacle) or soft pass (player can be an exact or combined color as the enemy / obstacle. Example, blue or purple, ie blue / red).

The Fusion Core system is integrated, taking into account what colored cores the player has and if a core is temporarily removed as a result of a collision.

Hull Integrity added - This is the player's "health" so to speak.

The player ship model is reintegrated with a few other enemies / obstacles in line to be next.

UPDATE! Chroma Shift | Remnants lives!

I know, I know, we went dark for a while and our website is down. The website is also awaiting an overhaul and update.
Progress to CS|R is ongoing. There have been some setbacks however. CS|R is currently undergoing some optimizations (rebuild) and getting a well deserved cleanup. This part is a bit of a grind but the results will be well worth it. As a team, we are chugging along although we are taking it slow due to burnout concerns. Nevertheless, we are dedicated to producing the best gaming experience possible.
The rebuild is going smoothly with core movement and color shifting systems active. Collision systems are currently being added back in.

The goal is to release a very basic playable demo to Steam: Early Access by the end of the year. Stay tuned for more details. We plan to post regular updates from here out.
