When I first published this book, I was terrified. It was my debut. My story. My heart cracked open on every page. I didn’t expect it to take off the way it did — and yet here we are. 💔📖

I started a blog.

Not because I have it all figured out… but because I absolutely do not. 😂

It’s called This Wasn’t on the Syllabus — a space for the moms, wives, teachers, and real-life women out there who are just trying to survive the chaos with coffee, compassion, and maybe a little dry shampoo.

I’m talking about the mental load, the messes behind the scenes, the marriage moments, the motherhood meltdowns, and everything in between.

Because when I was growing up, I thought being an adult meant having it all together. LOL. Turns out? No one gave us a syllabus for this part.
So here I am — figuring it out out loud in the hopes that maybe, just maybe, you’ll feel a little less alone in your own beautiful chaos.

I’m a teacher by day, a toddler-wrangler by night, and a wife somewhere in between. From the outside, I look like a functioning adult. On the inside? I'm just winging it with dry shampoo, coffee, and questionable confidence.
