Okay so I tried a Canadian and American KitKat side by side and here’s what I think. So both have a very similar flavor. I think the Canadian one has a more malty flavor which I actually kind of prefer in chocolate which is something most other Americans probably don’t, but I still really liked the taste of both while slightly preferring the flavor of the Canadian one. But the one thing I couldn’t get over with the American one was how gritty the texture of the chocolate was in the American version. It really made me appreciate how much better the texture was in the Canadian version because I have no idea how anyone can stand this.

I ordered some Nestlé candy off of Amazon exclusive to other countries and I definitely can see why Americans cry looking at this stuff. First off, the KitKats are LEAGUES better than what we have here. The chocolate is nice and smooth unlike the grittier ones we have here and it tastes way creamier and rich. Absolutely love it! Secondly, there’s Smarties which are not the same as the chalky candy called the same thing here. They’re actually more like M&Ms and made out of chocolate, but I like them better because they are crunchier and more rich tasting and also have higher quality chocolate. Then we have Coffee Crisp which has gotta be my favorite out of the bunch. It’s crispy and blends the flavor of coffee and chocolate so well. Definitely a must-try! And finally we have Aero which is nice and has a nice soft center like nougat. Sort of like a Milky Way bar, but doesn’t have caramel. Overall I couldn’t be happier to have tried candy I never would have thought I would and I’m seriously jealous how every other country has this but us. I literally felt like a kid in a candy store. I’m definitely going to be buying all of this in bulk later. I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed the candy! 🥰

So apparently Tony’s came out with a white chocolate flavor. When I had saw it at Walmart, I knew I had to pick it up. It’s honestly pretty good. One thing weird about it is that it actually tastes more like chocolate than the creamy milky-tasting Lindt chocolate. Highly recommend it!
