Stayed at Tmark Resort in Vangvieng and loved the riverfront view. We hopped on a long‑tail boat nearby to explore the river and visit the Angel Cave. Friendly service and a breakfast buffet with lots of variety made the stay even better.

Exploring the 1,300 year old Wat Phra That Doi Kham. This historic temple sits on top of a hill and offers a beautiful panoramic view of Chiang Mai city. This temple is famous for Luang Phor Tanjai or the Success Buddha. Many people come here to offer jasmine flowers after their wishes come true.

Wat Sri Suphan, the Silver Temple in Chiang Mai, is a unique masterpiece of Lanna craftsmanship. Adorned with intricate silver repoussé panels, the temple reflects Buddhist stories, local culture, and contemporary life, shimmering beautifully under the sunlight. I was lucky to visit on a day with a bright sky, which made the silver details glow even more.
