BIG UPDATE ON JAXX 💙

On 3/17, Jaxx finally went HOME after 2 1/2 months in the hospital following the accident. This was a HUGE milestone and something we have all been praying and fighting for every single day.

And if that wasn’t incredible enough… the very next day he went on his FIRST outing — to the aquarium 🐠

This was his first time in a car in 2 1/2 months since the accident. Something so simple that most of us take for granted felt like such a massive victory. Being able to get out, see something new, and experience a moment of normal life again meant everything.

The strength, courage, and determination Jaxx continues to show is nothing short of inspiring. Every step forward is a BIG deal, and this was a moment worth celebrating.

Please keep the prayers, love, and support coming as he continues this journey. The road ahead is still long, but this was such a powerful reminder of how far he has already come. 💪💙

Jaxx got himself out of his own chair and onto the therapy table.

No one lifted him. No one did it for him. He figured it out and made it happen.

The struggle is real. You can see it. You can feel it. Every movement takes intention. Every shift takes strength. But what stands out the most is his spirit.

He is so eager to learn. So determined to do things on his own. He doesn’t give up when it’s hard — he leans in.

This journey isn’t easy. But watching him push through, problem solve, and refuse to quit is something we will never stop being proud of.

That determination is everything. 💙

Jaxx stood for the first time since his accident.

With full support from his therapy team, they brought him upright at the therapy table and held him there. He can’t feel anything in his legs — not even the weight — but he was standing.

Let that sink in.

His body may not feel it, but his heart did. His mind did. His eyes did. He got to see the room from a different view again. He got to experience being upright instead of sitting.

It took coordination. It took strength through his upper body. It took trust. And it took courage.

Standing isn’t simple anymore. It’s part of retraining his body. It’s protecting his bones and circulation. It’s reminding his brain what upright feels like — even if the signal isn’t there yet.

We are so unbelievably proud of him. 💙

You should’ve seen his face. Fresh air. A change of scenery. A reminder that there is still a whole world waiting for him beyond these walls.

Whether you got inked, bought raffle tickets, donated, brought food, shared the event, or just came to show love & leave a note — it meant more than you know. Your generosity made an immediate impact, and we are so grateful.

A very special shoutout to Katie at Twinflame Tattoo for hosting such an amazing event and planning the whole thing to help a family she didn’t even know. That kind of heart is rare. I truly hope everyone loved their work and adopts Katie as their artist — she deserves all the support right back.

Today in OT, Jaxx worked on reaching games to help him learn muscle techniques for balancing his body while still using his hands. He’s figuring out how to scoot using only his arms — which is HUGE. 💪🏼

Because he has no function from the belly button down, relearning how to move and do everyday things is a hard transition. But he keeps showing up and pushing through in ways that amaze us.

He also got to pick the colors for his brand new custom wheelchair! It’ll take some time to come in, so when he goes home he’ll be using a hospital loaner for a bit — but he was SO excited to choose a 🕷️ Spider-Man theme.

One day at a time. And today was a good one 💙
