Our Story
The Studio at Joe Kenney Enterprises provides high quality music lessons to students of all ages and levels. We currently teach piano, violin, cello, guitar, saxophone, and oboe. We offer instruction in Pennsylvania in Montgomery County, Chester County, and Delaware County with both in-home lessons and also studio lessons taught at C.J.s pianos in downtown Phoenixville. The Studio was founded in 2010 by Joseph Kenney, an instructor/performer/and recording artist with a BM in Piano Performance from West Chester University. We believe it is important to create a learning environment that both champions the individuality of each student and ultimately fosters independence in studying music. With a customized plan for each student, lessons combine a focus on music theory, pieces selected by the teacher and via input from the student/parents, ear training, games and activities, and worksheets and other supplemental materials.
The Studio is proud to provide regular performance opportunities for all students, at venues such as farmer’s markets, coffee shops, and retirements; we also prepare advanced students for the National Piano Guild, ABRSM exams, and other festivals/competitions/ adjudications.
