Just watched "Zero Dark Thirty" for the first time.

Abhorrent movie that justifies torture and makes ZERO mention of what led up to 9/11, perpetuating the idea that the attack took place because "they hate our way of life". I mean f**k religious fundamentalists of any stripe but this film was just imperalism apologia.

I can only imagine how bad American Sniper is. 😅

I try not to critique the left so much, but I feel it needs to be said; We have a communication issue with those we could instead convince and educate. While I disagree with and dislike greatly the stances propped up by liberals and conservatives, that does not mean we have to bash them to their faces.

There is a difference between discussing our frustrations with these people amongst our community but there are moments where patience, kindness, and discourse can help sway these folks. (And to be clear, these moments are very rare especially amongst MAGA types). Whereas being rude or condenscending to them only paints the left as overly intellectual or closeminded.
