Organizing and splitting up my 2 zen areas. I have the Healing Hut outside and my yoga room inside.
This is a quick peek 👀 at my books on a variety of topics.
I may not be everyone’s cup of tea with the things I find peace in but it’s my peace to offer and share if you do.
As I disconnect and reconnect with my passion I plan to find ways to offer my time and energy with like minded souls.
I can wait to share the finished project.

Wow September is here and my summer season has come to an end.
This means so many exciting things.
For me it’s back to book club, crocheting, crock pot meals, jeans and sweaters, long walks, hot tea and night time fires. 🔥

Today my husband joined me for my morning walk. Was a bit slower because we took two of the dogs that wanted to smell the world but it was a good walk anyway. Moving, laughing and starting our day connecting.
Life requires many things….
It’s what you build and create around you that guides how you feel each day. Not feeling good. Make a change. Mindset matters.

There is nothing better than running to the garden to pick a fresh tomato for a tomato sandwich
1 slice of toasted rye grain bread and mozzarella with fresh tomatoes 🍅
Eat for nutrition and fuel but damn this tastes great too.

Self care is important these days. Our health should be our primary focus but we often allow other things to take priority. I know I am definitely at fault for this many times.

Today I am working from home doing paperwork, a life plan meeting and nail clients. I am blessed and fortunate to be able to work from home and make time for many things. I am also very blessed to be able to work outside and even while floating in the pool. Sometimes work includes searching for new recipes for clients, coming up with modifications for exercises for those starting a new workout routine. Or even just making contact with clients finding out what they need help and motivation with.

Aug is our start for a new routine. Tim and I will do a month of a new routine of self care. We like to change it up each month and try new things. This month will include Kayaking, bike rides and more walking. Plus being mindful of food prepping, less food waste and less eating out.
We work so hard to keep my daughter Mary on a strict health and wellness routine that it’s silly we dont follow suit with her. So now we will.

Hi everyone !! Happy Saturday !!
Today I had three lovely ladies to pamper. It’s all about prepping the nails and taking your time to file the acrylic to make the nails look as natural as possible.
I hand file to create the perfect shape and thickness. Move the arch for the stress area and do my best to make the nails look like they are as natural as can be.

Come meet me next week at the Pine Bush First Friday when my husband will perform from 4-7 T.J. Santiago
And I (Missy Santiago) will have a book making nail appts and little items for sale.
