My daughter is having an adopt a puppy themed birthday party this weekend. I created this house backdrop for photo shoots that will have a white picket fence out front with little stuffed animal puppies in it that the kids can choose to adopt. All materials used were things I had around the house from home projects, so this was completely free.

The date kept getting pushed back so thought I had more time but the earlier than anticipated, yet bittersweet news that Austin leaves for boot camp then the Navy December 12th! There will be a going away party for him tomorrow at 10 AM until 2pm or TBD at Whistle Binkies On The Lake. Anyone that wants to say goodbye to Austin is welcome to come!

This year can’t get any worse, I’m so happy for him yet so sad at the same time! Too many people I love leaving me at once. I am going to miss you so much AustyRoo, my little Augie, Austin Andrew Galbreath! Thank you for being the most respectful, selfless, driven, and best son a mother could ask for! I couldn’t be more proud of the man that you’ve become. When you became a big brother to Brenna and Claira; you exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond; took on that role on like a pro. Those girls are so lucky and blessed to call your their brother, and are going to be lost without you, as am I.

I’m normally a very positive person and think the best about uncertain situations, but this one’s definitely pulling at my heart strings on a whole new level. I’m so happy, but so sad at the same time, can’t stop crying and know it won’t be the same without you here for so long, without even being able to talk to you on the phone.

Love you and will miss you so much!

Aside from the hustle and bustle of life, we were able to get the exterior painted. Claira picked out this color paint that was left over from another project I did. Attempting to not have to buy anything to do renovate this and use up things from around the house. I’m so excited to start the interior and make mini furniture!

Check out this awesome dollhouse we found free on the side of the road. My daughter just had to have it so she can fix it up it! This will be a fun, mommy-daughter project! Stay tuned…😄 🏠 🔨

👻 Anyone who knows me, knows that I love Halloween, and I love to make costumes for me and my children. 🎃

This year Claira picked out the scary Doctor costume on Pinterest that she wanted me to make her. Everything from this costume is repurposed from fabric scraps and things accumulated over the years lol no pattern used just replicated from one of her bodysuit swimsuits. 🙂
