Some ask why I wear remembrance bracelets…

It’s not so I don’t forget, I’ll never forget.
I wear it as a promise. A reminder. A daily call to earn the life I still have… because they gave theirs.

Every name. Every face. Every brother and sister who never came home.

I wake up, I see that bracelet, and I remember:

They no longer get to.
No more runs. No more laughs. No more sunrises.

So…..

I train harder.
I lead better.
I love deeper.

Because freedom has a cost… and they already paid it.

Earn it. Every. Damn. Day. 🇺🇸

This week, I had the privilege of speaking with veterans through the incredible support of Nations Finest. From Vietnam veterans to those from the GWOT era, the room was filled with warriors who have served our nation with honor.

Many are navigating a new chapter — transitioning from military service into civilian life, rediscovering purpose, and finding ways to continue leading beyond the uniform. Some are overcoming personal battles, including recovery from addiction, yet their drive to give back to Sonoma County and their communities is nothing short of inspiring.

Regardless of when you served, the lessons, leadership, and resilience forged in service remain your foundation. Your story matters — and the world needs to hear it.

A huge thank you to the team at Nations Finest for making this possible and for the incredible work you do every day to support our veterans.

I can’t wait for the next opportunity to connect, learn, and share space with these remarkable Veterans.
